Antietam Financial Services PL trades under the IAA name for general insurance advisory services.  Alex Bodnar is the Managing Director and Robert Bodnar a Director of the Company.  Established in 1998, the Company operates out of North Sydney.

Alex Bodnar started his insurance career in 1996 as an Underwriter in the ‘Personal Lines’ division of QBE Insurance. A decision was made to become an insurance broker and in 1998 Alex became an Assistant Account Executive in the ‘Construction’ division of Jardine Lloyd Thompson. In 2000 Alex became an Account Executive in the ‘Corporate Client’ division of Marsh & McLennan. An opportunity arose in 2001 to become an owner operator (authorised representative) at Insurance Advisernet Australia. Alex has successfully grown the portfolio to the extent of winning numerous Outstanding Income Growth awards including winning Authorised Representative of the Year 2007.

Robert Bodnar has been in the insurance industry for over 36 years in Australia, Asia and the USA in a variety of senior underwriting, management, advising, and consulting roles.  He has had 9 years involvement in Southeast Asia, with his most recent overseas assignment being 2 years in Papua New Guinea where he was the Managing Director of Heath Lambert Broking PNG.    Robert is also a university graduate and former Army officer.  He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Antietam’s mission is division-related with the advisory division to provide quality advice for the protection of a client’s specific occupational business; and the consulting division to provide analysis and solutions to specific insurance entity organizational and management problems.

Trish Goodwin brought extensive experience in the insurance industry when she joined the team in July 2007.  Her expertise is in administration, customer relations and claims handling.

Angelique Hutton provides back office administration support which includes payroll and all other company expense settlements.
